AHWS started working with our partner, Minority Rights Seva Foundation in Rawalpindi, Pakistan back in 2014. The chief theme that has been established is serving disadvantaged and underprivileged individuals and groups from all faiths.

Achievements:

1) Organized interfaith programs for Krishna Janmasthami, Diwali, Eid, Christmas and Easter with the distribution of food packages for needy families (usually 27-50 families); celebrations are opened to all faiths

2) Ongoing educational support of school tuition fees for 40 school children (Hindus, Muslims, Christians)

3) Continued promotion of interfaith harmony and dialogue with local Hindu temples, mosques, gurudwaras, and churches within and around the outskirts of Rawalpindi

4) Establishment of Women's Empowerment Center in 2015 with 67 girls and women empowered with learning stitching and sewing skills
